Fostering saves lives. By opening your home temporarily, you give rescued animals a safe place to heal, grow, and prepare for their forever homes.
Every cat in foster care frees up space at the shelter for another animal in need. Whether you can help for two weeks or a few months, your home can make all the difference.
Every foster home is different. Tell us which cats you feel ready to care for and we will match you with an animal that suits your home, your schedule and your experience.
Bottle babies
Newborn kittens who need round-the-clock feeding and warmth until they are strong enough to eat on their own.
Kittens
Young kittens over two months old who need a safe, playful home to grow, learn and get used to people.
Adult cats
Grown cats who are calmer and happier in a quiet home while they wait for their forever family.
Sick or injured cats
Cats recovering from illness, surgery or injury who need a peaceful space and a little extra care.
Foster application
Apply to Foster
Tell us about yourself, your home and the kind of cats you can care for. It only takes a few minutes, and a member of our team will be in touch to talk through the next steps.
After you apply, a member of our team will contact you to talk about your home, your availability and the type of cat that would be the best fit. When a match is ready, we will arrange for the cat to come home with you.
While you foster, we ask you to keep your foster cat safely indoors, send us regular updates and photos, and help get them to vet visits when needed. If you have any worries, our team is only a message away.
Can't foster right now?
You can still help by donating towards food and vet care for the cats, or by volunteering a few hours at the shelter.
