Who We Are
The Cat Cradle Initiative is a not-for-profit organization aimed at promoting animal welfare through rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing cats in Uganda towards positive lives. In a place where cats are the most disadvantaged, unwanted and mistreated pets, we are their paw-sitive refuge! Initially started as a personal project, we have been active since April 2020. The Cat Cradle rescue has since grown to embody the hopes and ideas of animal lovers in the region. We have so far rescued 37 cats with 21 currently under our care.The Cat Cradle Initiative is located in Bweyogerere, Kirinya, Uganda.
